課程概述 |
Labs
Lab sessions will be 3 hours in length and meet weekly. You will work on four main topics: weed identification, weed biology/ecology, herbicide effects on plants and weed control equipment.
|

課程目標 |
Lab objectives: The laboratory assignments are intended to supplement and expand upon lecture topics. Through the labs you will :
1. Become familiar with key concepts related to weed biology and weed:crop interference.
2. Become able to identify approximately 60 species of weeds found in Taipei agriculture.
3. Gain experience with herbicide injury symptoms and herbicide resistance.
4. Gain insight into the relationships between herbicide applications and environmental and economic factors.
5. Become familiar with equipment used in mechanical and chemical weed management.
